Chikura Shiokaze Okoku Roadside Station is a roadside station on National Route 410 located in the south of the Boso Peninsula. There is a market selling fresh seafood caught in the sea off Chikura, a restaurant, a general goods and souvenir shop, and local products and vegetables.
At Chikura Roadside Station, seafood bowls that allow you to enjoy fresh seafood and croquettes made with local ingredients are popular.
There is also the fishing boat “First Chikura Maru,” which is the symbol of the roadside station, and you can go up to the observation deck to view the surrounding scenery.
There is free parking at Chikura Shiokaze Okoku Roadside Station, with 130 spaces for regular cars, 10 spaces for large vehicles, and 1 space for disabled people, and a total of nearly 200 spaces including the surrounding parking lots. It is open 24 hours a day and is convenient for long breaks.
