Fukushima Airport is a locally managed airport that spans Tamagawa Village, Ishikawa County, Fukushima Prefecture and Sukagawa City. It opened in 1993, and the runway was extended to 2,500m in 2000. It is located at an altitude of 372m, and has regular flights to Sapporo (New Chitose) and Osaka (Itami). The facility has a 6-berth apron and free parking for approximately 2,400 cars.
