Ebino Plateau is a plateau located at an altitude of about 1,200m in the southeastern part of Ebino City, Miyazaki Prefecture. It is a basin-like topography surrounded by Mount Karakunidake, Mount Ebino, Mount Shiratori, and Mount Koshiki of the Kirishima Mountains, and is part of Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park. It is attractive for its beautiful natural scenery in all four seasons, dotted with crater lakes such as Fudoike and Rokukannon-miike, and covered with silver grass fields and alpine plants. It is also a resort with hot springs, and is a popular spot visited by about 800,000 tourists a year.
