The Ueda Castle Senbonzakura Festival is held every spring. About 1,000 cherry trees in Ueda Castle Park are in full bloom, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. During the festival, events such as cherry blossom illuminations, night cherry blossom viewing events, night stalls, food stalls, and live music will be held. In addition, a cherry blossom viewing space and an outdoor stage will be set up, so you can enjoy it with your family and friends.
Every autumn, the “Ueda Castle Autumn Leaves Festival” is held. In addition to the “Sengoku GIG Kai-KACHIDOKI-” event, where samurai troops from all over the country gather, “Ueda Castle Ninomaru Yokocho” where gourmet food and local specialties of the city are available will be held.
