Nikko Futarasan Shrine Okumiya is located at the summit of Mt. Nantai, which is 2,486 meters above sea level. It takes more than 5 hours to walk from the trailhead of Chugushi in the north of Lake Chuzenji to the summit where the Okumiya is located. There is a gate to the Okumiya at the summit of Mt. Nantai on the right side of the main hall of Chugushi, and you can climb it for a limited time from May to October.
