Oku-Nikko Yumoto Onsen is a historic hot spring resort located on the shores of Lake Yunoko in the center of Nikko National Park. Discovered by the monk Shodo in 788, the hot springs are characterized by their sulfurous springs, which are known to have skin-beautifying effects. Located on a plateau at an altitude of 1,500m, surrounded by Mt. Shirane and Mt. Mitsudake, the town is known as a quiet hot spring town where you can enjoy the nature of the four seasons.
