The Hashikura Temple Spring Festival is a traditional event held every year on April 12th at Hashikura Temple in Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture. Amidst the blooming of mountain cherry blossoms and peony cherry blossoms, a memorial service is held solemnly from 12:00, and a great memorial service of “Daihannya Tendoku” is held from 13:00. After the memorial service, the traditional lucky rice cake throwing is also held, attracting many worshippers. It is a popular event where you can feel faith and the arrival of spring amid the beautiful scenery of the nature and cherry blossoms of Mt. Hashikura. It is accessible by ropeway and is a popular event with tourists.
