Itoshima City is located in western Fukuoka Prefecture, with a population of approximately 104,000 and an area of 215.69 square kilometers. It has several train stations, including Chikuzen-Maebaru Station on the JR Chikuhi Line, and is traversed by National Route 202 and the West Kyushu Expressway. Several rivers, including the Zuimeiji River, Kaburi River, and Raizan River, flow through the city.
