Access: Approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Yudanaka Station on the Nagano Electric Railway Nagano Line, or approximately 30 minutes on foot after getting off at the Kamibayashi Onsen bus stop. Parking is available around Kamibayashi Onsen, and the park is approximately a 30-minute walk up a mountain path from there. Direct vehicle access to the park is not permitted, so please check the route beforehand.

The best time to see monkeys bathing in the hot springs is during the winter months from December to March, when snow covers the ground. The sight of monkeys immersed up to their shoulders in the steaming open-air baths is a breathtaking spectacle unique to this time of year.
In spring (April-May), you can see monkeys freely moving around amidst the fresh greenery, as well as adorable baby monkeys. Summer (June-August) allows you to observe monkeys roaming freely against the backdrop of the lush valley, while autumn (September-November) offers stunning scenery of autumn leaves and wild monkeys.
