Tsugaike Mountain Resort is located in Otari Village, Kitaazumi District, Nagano Prefecture, and is one of the largest ski resorts in the Hakuba area. It stretches from an altitude of 800m to 1,704m and has 10 courses. The longest run is 5,000m and the maximum slope is 35 degrees.
It is characterized by its vast 196ha slope and diverse course composition. It is suitable for a wide range of people, with a ratio of 40% beginner, 40% intermediate and 20% advanced. Snowboarding is allowed all over the resort, and it also has a snow park and a kids’ park.
The facility is equipped with 17 lifts and one gondola. At “TG PARKS,” you can enjoy a variety of items such as jumps and jibs. The powder tree run area called “Tsugaike DBD” for advanced skiers is also popular.
It is about a 40-minute drive from the Joshinetsu Expressway. There is also a parking lot that can accommodate 1,500 cars.
