Fuji Cemetery is a park cemetery with about 1,000 Somei-Yoshino cherry trees and about 7,000 Yamazakura cherry trees. It is a famous cherry blossom spot that has been selected as one of the “100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan.” The view of the cherry blossom trees in full bloom from the high ground in the park is a spectacular sight. The best time to see them is mid-April. Admission is free, but since it is a park cemetery, please be considerate when viewing the flowers.
