About Kosei City
Kosai City is located at the westernmost point of Shizuoka Prefecture, on the border with Aichi Prefecture, and is a naturally rich area surrounded by Hamana Lake, Enshu Nada, and the Kosei mountain range. With an area of 86.56 square kilometers and a population of approximately 58,000 people, it is also a transportation hub where the JR Tokaido Main Line and National Route 1 pass through. There are sites such as Michisji Oroshi, Niikise-Kakucho, Niiki Benten Kaiko-kan, and Shirasuka Beach, making it an area with high demand for tourism, coastal leisure, road traffic management, and disaster prevention confirmation.
