It is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Yamagata Prefecture and has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots. The best time to see them is usually from mid-April to late April. Paper lanterns are set up and lit up according to the blooming season.
