In 2023, the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from April 21st (Friday) to May 5th (Friday). Hirosaki Park is home to approximately 2,600 cherry blossom trees of 52 varieties, including Yoshino cherry, weeping cherry, and double cherry. The best time to see them is usually from late April to early May. Night illuminations will also be held during the festival period.
