Hossawa Falls is approximately 60m long and 50m deep, divided into four stages, and is the only waterfall in Tokyo that has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls. The first tier has a drop of 26.4m, the second tier 16.8m, the third tier 13.7m, and the fourth tier 2.4m. It is a popular tourist attraction in Hinohara Village, where you can rarely see the waterfall illuminated in the summer and the frozen icefall in the winter. There is a parking lot and a bus stop, but both require a 15-minute walk along a promenade.
