Tomisato Dam is a concrete gravity dam located on the Dozan River, a part of the Yoshino River system, in Tomisato Town, Shikokuchuo City, Ehime Prefecture. It is 106m high and has a crest length of 250m. Construction began in 1992 and was completed in 2000. Its purposes are flood control, supplying urban water to Shikokuchuo City, and generating electricity, and it has a total storage capacity of 52 million m³. It features one of the largest selective water intake facilities in Japan and landslide prevention measures, and is located within Kanasako Prefectural Natural Park, with observation facilities and a learning space nearby.
