Kurobe Dam is a dam located in Tateyama Town, Toyama Prefecture, which is surrounded by mountains with an altitude of 3,000 meters near the border between Nagano and Toyama Prefectures. Kurobe Dam, built upstream of the Kurobe River, is 186m high, 492m wide, and has a water storage capacity of 200 million cubic meters. You can get a panoramic view of Kurobe Dam from the observation deck at an altitude of 1,508m, which is located at the top of the 220 steps from Kurobe Dam Station.
