Amanohashidate is a sandbar with a total length of 3.6km and a width of 20 to 170m that separates Miyazu Bay and the Aso Sea in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture from north to south.The sandbar is lined with approximately 7,000 pine trees. It is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan along with Matsushima and Miyajima.
